We aren't refusing. We never were.
We prefer to give credit on release as to not spoil what will be in the next version.

Ok, I can see I need to be a little more clear.

We know you are using sprites that you did not make or credit.  That includes sprites in your current version.  Like this one for example.

I can blatantly see your gohma is an edit of this.  This does not make you exempt from giving credit.

And your title logo can be traced back to this site as far back as 2003.

We have not asked you for anything difficult.  Just add the damn credits.

ZFGC has always had a llama.  Particularly, a drama llama.

Alright I have arrived home!  So let me just get right to it before Hyrule Warriors consumes me for the night!

First off, as we've all said in the past, you have a fantastic looking project!  Really, you do.  We want to support the project here, but as our policy is credit must be given where it's due, that's making it a little difficult.  GodsTurf, you seem like you're getting onto fixing that based on your last post so that's great news.  That really clears up a lot of what I wanted to say earlier!

The assets that you used without credit were bound to be noticed sooner or later.  Members of this forum over the last 11 years have spent COUNTLESS hours creating assets for its previous iterations in one way or another.  TRM's OoT2D is very reason for the existence of this forum after all! I know some of our inactive veteran members noticed the assets before I even did!  And trust me, as more of us (and there's a lot of us) start to notice this, your reputation is going to go down.  Whether or not you realize it, this is a project that has been being made for 11 years.  It is the accumulation of the hard work of many other users who were here before you guys came along.  We're only asking that you respect those users and the work they put into the assets.

The other thing is, you guys are tackling a HUGE undertaking.  Seriously, OoT2D is the Duke Nukem Forever of the fan gaming world!  With your recent news coverage, you have a lot of eyes on you, I'm sure that includes Nintendo.  Some of them are going to praise you.  Some of them are going to hate you and call you dumb.  Some of them are going to nitpick (especially here, oh how we love to nitpick :D).  My point is, with a project like this, you're going to get slammed with a whole lot of different kinds of crap from the Zelda fan base.  Please get use to hearing it now.

That said, if you guys can get your credits sorted out, we're more than happy to continue supporting you.  You're doing a great job and it only makes sense that we would support the game that started this place.

I've spoken with 2 other guys and they pointed out some of the sprites.  In particular, Assets from Daniel Barras and DJVenom were used.  I believe this would be the menu screens & deku sheild (DB) and a ladder sprite used somewhere (DJVenom).  Also, that Gohma sprite looks VERY familiar but I can't place my finger on the author.

Ah man, it wouldn't be oot2D without the drama! Reminds me of the ezboard days xD

Anyhow,  I have a lot to say, none of it particularly harsh. However I'm at work currently and can't post a ramble so it's have to wait until I'm home

But nothing on credit updates?  If it's an issue of not knowing who made some of the assets,  I'd be glad to go through the demo and hunt them down.

How goes progress?  Any updates?  Also wondering if the credits were ever updated :)

And congrats on ZI mentioning you!
